Megabus.com, a low-cost intercity express bus company that offers trips for as low as $1, will begin daily service to Millbrae today and an additional Phoenix stop on November 4. Booking for both locations is now available at www.megabus.com. The Millbrae stop is located at bus stop 10 in the Bus Transit Center on the east side of the Millbrae Station. The new Phoenix stop is located at the northeast corner of the Valley Metro Central Station at Bay 6 by the Polk Street entrance. “In response to customer requests, we are adding megabus.com stops in Millbrae and Phoenix,” said Dale Moser, president and COO of megabus.com. Megabus.com now offers daily express bus service between its West Coast hub in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Millbrae, Oakland, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose and Tempe. $1 tickets are always available for a limited number of seats on every megabus.com route so passengers are encouraged to book early. After all $1 tickets have sold, customers will pay competitive fares. Booking for megabus.com travel is done via the Internet at www.megabus.com. The Web site provides information on arrival and departure times and allows passengers to quickly book their travel and purchase tickets from the comfort of their home, office or wireless handheld device. The Web site is available in English; a Spanish version is being developed. |
