ONLINE USERS TO HELP DETERMINE CERTAIN ELEMENTS OF UPCOMING DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE, "THE CHEETAH GIRLS ONE WORLD" VIA POLL AT DISNEYCHANNEL.COM

Disney Channel viewers will play a part in determining certain elements of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie "The Cheetah Girls One World" via a global online poll, Play Your Part, at www.DisneyChannel.com/CheetahGirls rolling out beginning December 31 and concluding February 1, 2008.



The music-driven movie will begin production in Udaipur, India, in January. Starring Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams and Sabrina Bryan, it continues the story of best friends Chanel, Aqua and Dorinda as they pursue their dream to become recording artists and embark on their biggest adventure yet – a role in a Bollywood movie.



Kids across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Japan and Australia can log on to their respective Disney Channel websites and, via several poll categories, can help choose some aspects of the movie including The Cheetah Girls wardrobe and the Indian cuisine they'll sample. The winning choices will be revealed during its premiere next summer.



This marks the second time Disney Channel has invited its viewers to "play their part" in determining some of the elements of a Disney Channel Original Movie. Earlier this year, an unprecedented number of kids from around the world participated in Disney Channel's interactive poll, "High School Musical 2: Play Your Part," casting 45 million votes online to determine among other things, what kind of sandwich Troy would pack for his picnic with Gabriella and the clever sayings on Chad's tee-shirts.

Based on the best selling book series for kids and tweens by award-winning author Deborah Gregory (Jump at the Sun/Hyperion Books for Children), "The Cheetah Girls" is part of the hugely successful kid-driven, family inclusive Disney Channel Original Movie franchise. It premiered in August 2003 on Disney Channel and was followed by "The Cheetah Girls 2" in 2006. The movies continue to deliver strong ratings with each telecast and have spawned a successful franchise of albums, videos and consumer products.
